With a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours from the University of Salford and a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance & Islamic Banking from the prestigious London School of Business, Haji Safwan has seamlessly blended academic excellence with practical experience.
Prior to his current role, Haji Safwan held esteemed positions including President of the Malaysia OSV Owners’ Association (MOSVA) from 2018 to 2021 and Chairman of the Malaysian Shipowners’ Association (MASA) for the term 2021-2023. His dynamic leadership and strategic vision have propelled Dinastia Jati Group towards international prominence.
With a nuanced understanding of the oil and gas industry, Haji Safwan has successfully managed projects totalling RM700 million as Cost Controller for Shapadu Energy & Engineering Sdn. Bhd. His tenure at Islamic GDP (UK), where he conducted financial planning and Shariah restructuring programs across multiple continents, further enriches his portfolio.
