After over a decade in the film production industry, Akmal Danial transitioned to Dinastia Jati Sdn Bhd (DJSB) in 2013. A graduate of both the New York Film Academy and IACT College, Akmal honed his expertise in TV commercials, corporate videos, and television shows, bringing a fresh and creative perspective to the Oil & Gas sector.

At DJSB, Akmal played a pivotal role in the company’s growth as Head of Commercial & Contract, where he managed the FCB fleet and led key contract negotiations. In 2020, he stepped down to pursue his passion for filmmaking, but remains actively involved with DJSB as a Non-Executive Director.

As Managing Director of Phuture Phlow Films, Akmal transformed the company from a modest one-room operation into a thriving three-story production and post-production house. Under his leadership, the company secured major clients including Astro, Media Prima, CIMB, Tourism Malaysia, AADK, and the Petronas Group of Companies.
